Who We Are

Robin McCarty Co-Founder/President		Robin McCarty is the founder/CEO of PMS PokerWear – the largest apparel company dedicated to the female poker player. A tournament poker player herself, Robin gives women the opportunity to say how they feel and think about poker in a fun and whimsical way. Prior to starting PMS PokerWear in 2008, Ms. McCarty was a new stay at home mom to twin boys after deciding to leave her 17 year career in the entertainment industry for diapers and formula.  Although being a mom had its rewards, poker seemed to be a great outlet to utilize her strengths mastered in the corporate world.
Lauren Failla Co-Founder/CEO		Lauren Failla founded the High Heels Poker Tour to change perception of what was once a “good ol’ boys game”. She gives women an opportunity to expand their poker playing skills by providing an outlet for nurturing the next top female poker player. In the 2009 World Series of Poker Ladies Event #17 , Lauren cashed in 63rd out of 1200. Most recently, at the 2011 Poker Stars Caribbean Adventure she final tabled finishing in 8th place in theLadies Event. In addition to the HHPT, Lauren is a feature writer for Ante Up Magazine and co-creator of the HHPT Academy.

In April 2011, Robin and Lauren created Peace, Love & Poker Parties utilizing the “at home” party concept to bring poker mainstream to women across the country.

Then in August 2011, Ms. McCarty and Ms. Failla teamed up once again and created Empire Industries,  the nation’s leading women’s poker conglomerate. Empire Industries consists of the High Heels Poker Tour, PMS PokerWear, the High Heels Poker Tour Academy and Peace, Love and Poker Parties.
